Per-Franchise Salary Cap - Specify this amount when all franchises have the same salary cap. If different per-franchise caps are required, leave this field blank and instead use the 'Franchise xx Salary Cap' fields below.
Salary Cap Type - Define either a soft (default) or hard cap limit. A soft cap allows owners to exceed the cap amount, whereas a hard cap will prevent transactions (waiver, trades, etc.) that would otherwise exceed a franchises cap limit. Regardless of this setting, any franchise that exceeds the cap (hard caps can be exceeded by the commissioner), a warning will appear on the Rosters
report.
When Displaying Salaries - Either include (default) cents, exclude cents and commas, exclude cents/include commas, or abbreviate millions in all salary amounts.
Reset Player Salary/Contract To League Default - Change this option from it's default of "Never." to one of the other two options ("When a player is dropped." or "When a player is unlocked.") to have the system automatically clear out all player salary and contract information at the appropriate time.
Franchise xx Salary Cap - Define a custom amount for each team's salary cap as needed. If all teams share the same cap number, leave these fields blank and instead use the 'Per-Franchise Salary Cap' setting above.
Percent Of IR Player Salary That Counts Towards The Salary Cap - Leave the value of 100% to allow an IR player's entire salary to be counted against the cap or reduce it as needed.
Percent Of Taxi Squad Player Salary That Counts Towards The Salary Cap - Leave the value of 100% to allow an taxi squad player's entire salary to be counted against the cap or reduce it as needed.
Percent Of Player's Salary That Should Be Charged To Franchise Owner When Player Is Dropped - Cleared (unused) by default. Enter a percentage value (1-100) to instruct the site to automatically calculate a salary adjustment for any dropped players.
Automatically Increase All Player Salaries By xx - Enter in either a positive or negative percentage or whole dollar amount (without the percent sign or dollar sign) to increase or decrease current player salaries, respectively.
NOTE: Enter a value of 0 percent in order to clear (zero) out all player salaries and enter a negative percentage number to automatically decrease all player salaries by that percentage amount.
The following options only appear after at least one Contract Year field has been defined:
Should "Contract Year" Column Be Totalled On Roster Report? - Click 'yes' or 'no' as needed.
Automatically Increment All "Contract Year" Fields By - Enter in either a positive or negative number to increase or decrease current player contract year values, respectively.
Title for "Contract Year" Column on Rosters Report - Enter information in this field to overwrite the default "Contract Year" title for this corresponding column's data as it appears on the Rosters
report.
Per-Franchise Contract Year Cap - If this field is filled in then the total sum of all of the players on a roster will be accumulated and the system will prevent owners from going over this limit through trades/waivers.
The following options only appear after at least one Other Contract Information field has been defined:
Should "Other Contract Information" Column Be Totalled On Roster Report? - Click 'yes' or 'no' as needed.
Automatically Increment All "Other Contract Information" Fields By - Enter in either a positive or negative number to increase or decrease current other player contract information values, respectively. This will only adjust numerically populated fields.
Title for "Other Contract Information" Column on Rosters Report - Enter information in this field to overwrite the default "Contract" title for this corresponding column's data as it appears on the Rosters
report.
The following option only appears after at least one of any player contract field has been defined:

When finished, you MUST click on the Save Salary Cap Setup button to apply your changes.
