(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 Great Lakes Fantasy Football League intra-divisional rivalry, Pelee Pirates embarrassed a hapless Mustangs team by a score of 38.000 to 24.000, silencing a partisan crowd of 71,180.

Pelee Pirates were led to their 14.000 point victory by a 9.675 point effort from David Garrard, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 329 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 9 rushing yards. They also got help from a 8.100 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 91 rushing yards in addition to 71 receiving yards.

"I'm happy I could make a contribution," Pelee Pirates coach Matt Link said.

Mustangs were helped out in a losing cause by a 5.550 point effort from Vincent Jackson, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 111 receiving yards. They also got help from a 4.500 point effort from Michael Turner, who snuck past the Minnesota Vikings defense for 70 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

"I take full responsibility for this loss," Mustangs coach Jamie DiLaudo said.

This brings the record for Pelee Pirates to 8-5, and drops Mustangs to a record of 7-6.

    Redskins vs. Noids OT
    The game was tied 28 to 28 going into overtime.

    Leon Washington generated 3 points for the Redskins while Todd Heap earned only 1 point for the Noids.

    Redskins win 31 to 29.

    11/11/2008 (Week #10)
    Lancers vs Justy's Pack OT
    The game was tied 22 to 22 going into overtime.

    Reuben Droughns could not get any extra points for the Pack while Correll Buckhalter was able to boost the Lancers score by 1 point.

    Lancers win 23 to 22.

    10/7/2008 (Week #5)
    Devastators vs Lancers OT
    The game was tied 23 to 23 going into overtime.

    James Jones could not get any extra points for the Lancers while Le'Ron McLain was able to boost the Devastators score by 4 points.

    Devastators win 27 to 23.

    9/19/2008 (Week #2)
    XXX-Men vs Justy's Pack OT
    A late official scoring change forced the XXX-Men vs. Justy's Pack into overtime.

    Initially the XXX-Men won the game 25 to 24 but the scoring change gave the XXX-Men only 24 points which forced the overtime.

    The XXX-Men were still able to pull out 26 to 25 victory as Maurice Morris pushed them up by 2 points while Chad Ocho Cinco could only push Justy up by 1 point.

    9/14/2008
    NFL re-schedules Week #2 game
    • Due to damage at Houston Texans stadium the week #2 matchup between the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens has been re-scheduled to week #10.
    • Both Houston and Baltimore will have their bye weeks in week #2.
    • Cincinnati Bengals will have their bye week moved from week #8 to week #10 to accomodate this schedule change.
