(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 Refugees of Holmgren showdown, *Wild Boars embarrassed a hapless Vaders Raiders team by a score of 123.15 to 75.20, extending the winning streak for *Wild Boars to 5 games.
*Wild Boars were led to their 47.95 point victory by a 36.15 point effort from Matt Cassel, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 345 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 19 rushing yards. With this performance, Cassel was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 18.10 point effort from Matt Forte, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 73 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 28 receiving yards. "This win was no fluke," *Wild Boars coach Kevin said. Vaders Raiders were helped out in a losing cause by a 16.10 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who beat the New England Patriots defense for 101 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. They also got help from a 14.00 point effort from Ladainian Tomlinson, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 90 rushing yards in addition to 20 receiving yards. "We came up a little short," Vaders Raiders coach Chris Levron said. This brings the record for *Wild Boars to 11-4, and drops Vaders Raiders to a record of 11-4. | ||
