(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 Refugees of Holmgren matchup, *Wild Boars embarrassed a hapless Vaders Raiders team by a score of 123.15 to 75.20, extending the winning streak for *Wild Boars to 5 games.
*Wild Boars were led to their 47.95 point victory by a 36.15 point effort from Matt Cassel, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 345 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 19 rushing yards. With this performance, Cassel was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 18.10 point effort from Matt Forte, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 73 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 28 receiving yards. "A win is a win," *Wild Boars coach Kevin said. Vaders Raiders were helped out in a losing cause by a 16.10 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who beat the New England Patriots defense for 101 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. They also got help from a 14.00 point effort from Ladainian Tomlinson, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 90 rushing yards in addition to 20 receiving yards. "I tip my hat to them," Vaders Raiders coach Chris Levron said. This brings the record for *Wild Boars to 11-4, and drops Vaders Raiders to a record of 11-4. | ||
