| Hey everyone, Thanks for your patience. I've been working hard to get Studs filled. I know some of you have been inviting others to join as well. Please keep that up and let's make a push this week to fill Studs. If she doesn't fill we have to consider other options. We could maybe find 2 to 4 more owners and have an 8 or 10 man league. We'd just adjust the payouts some taking most of what's collected and putting it towards prizes. Also, maybe we'd consider you owners that are not in Playmakers II to join that league and fill her up and not do Studs. | I've been sending out emails to solid FF owners that I am in other leagues with and have found no apparent takers. I have noticed that 2 of the GLFFL's premier leagues (Champs and WCOFF) still have a few openings. Perhaps we are seeing the ripple effect of less "play" money as we all feel the impact from the rising fuel costs and the failing economy. Anyway, I'd be willing to play in a 10 team league, but I don't think I would want to play in an 8 team league. I'm not interested in the Playmakers II League. Just my thoughts as we approach the scheduled draft this Sunday. |
