| Hey Everyone, I've worked hard and some of the other owners here have worked hard to get Studs full. It looks like we'll be able to go with at least 10 players. I hope everyone is good with going with a 10 team league so everyone here can play. If not, please e-mail me right away. We still need one more owner but one way or the other we will have 10 and be ready to go. Please make a push to help find the 10th owner. With 10, I have to adjust the payouts a little but most of what I will collect in entry fees with go towards payouts. Here's what I propose: $800 Top Prize $150 Runner Up $100 3rd Place $100 Consolation Tourney Winner I need to hear from everyone today by e-mail or poasting on this message board post that you are good with this and good to go. When I hear from everyone and know we are good to go with 10, I will send out the paypal link to collect entry fees right away. I need to collect all entry fees before I can shuffle the draft order. My goal is for all of you to know one way or the other by tommorrow morning if everyone that is alrady here is good to go. If so, we can do Studs this year. Please reply ASAP. | I've never been a big fan of 10-team leagues .... i would be happier to wait longer to draft and see if there's a chance we could get to 12 teams ..... failing that, if you could find 2 owners with 1 replacing me as the 10th, i'd step aside ......... failing that, i spoze i would play with just 10 ....... sean |

| If we are going to cut back to 10 teams, can we increase the roster size to 20? I dislike smaller leagues usually because some bozo with a bad draft usually can pick up a starters off the waiver wire at any time... |

| I would rather hold off on the draft and try and get the full 12 owners. I'm not a big fan of 10 team leagues, but would stay in if that made the difference in the league going off, or not. I would also NOT want to increase the roster size. Larger roster + fewer teams = teams with starting players sitting on a team's bench while other owner's trying to recover from a stud's injury find fewer players in the pool. |

| Skilled players plan ahead... Cutting 2 teams throws 36 players back in the pool. Adding 2 extra roster slots per team only removes 20 of those... There are still 16 extra free agents overall... |

| i wrote it earlier and billcats followed suit .... why must we do this draft tomorrow? can we not hold off and see if we get more owners .... i would MUCH rather do a 12-team league than 10 .... and even if we have to do 10, is there no chance to wait longer? i mean even if we waited to next sunday, we're still in prior to the season of course, plus we'd have further information about teams and injuries .... i'm uncertain as to why the rush to get the draft done given the fact that a live draft takes hours not days .... i'd love to wait ..... sean |
