| What is the deal with waivers in this league this year? Last year waivers were run at 11pm on Wednesday once the Thursday games started. This week they have been run twice (once at game time on Thursday and again on Friday??) with a player who has already played this week getting picked up on Friday. What is the official rule for waivers in this league? Did we vote to change it from last year's rule? |

| Everything that was in the system from last year copied over to this year so I'm not sure why the system ran waivers twice this week. I'm checking both Guru Leagues and I see that both have had only a Friday waivers all year (most leagues do one on Wednesdays and a follow-up on Saturday). I'm going to email the MFL guys to see if they can explain what is set incorrectly and why waivers would go off like they did this week. I do remember this same discussion last year and I believe we clarified things where the waivers were bumped up to Wednesdays only for the rest of the season (once the Thursday games started). Let me look into this and see if I can get some more explanation from the software guys. Thanks, Kirk |

| There's no restriction against this in any of the leagues that allow waivers after the early games have been completed. The system doesn't permit you to lock any early game players when there's a waiver opportunity after a game has been played so we don't do it anywhere. The unique thing about this league is that we always have one waiver opportunity each week (on Fridays) while most all other leagues do one on Wednesdays throughout the season and a second one on Saturdays. |
