(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 Great Lakes Fantasy Football League + battle, Vipers squeaked by a tough Six Pack team by a score of 31.000 to 30.000, extending the losing streak for Six Pack to 5 games.

Vipers were led to their 1.000 point victory by a 7.000 point effort from Cedric Benson, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 133 rushing yards in addition to 7 receiving yards. They also got help from a 6.200 point effort from Jamaal Charles, who beat the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 102 rushing yards in addition to 22 receiving yards.

"This win is for all the fans," Vipers coach Gary Quenneville said.

Six Pack were helped out in a losing cause by a 6.325 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 259 passing yards and 1 passing TD. They also got help from a 4.900 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 63 rushing yards in addition to 35 receiving yards.

"We didn't get the job done," Six Pack coach Reno Vespa said.

Adding salt to the wound, Six Pack could have scored 32.050 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Reno Vespa left key players like Jeremy Maclin and his corresponding 4.600 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Vipers to 8-5, and drops Six Pack to a record of 9-4.
