| 4. | Why do some of my home page modules seem to disappear? Answer: All the home page modules have the ability to be contracted and expanded by either double-clicking on the module heading or clicking the +/- sign that appears in the header. When closed, the module will still display it's title. If you notice a module with only a title bar, just double-click on the heading or click on the "+" sign and it will expand to it's full size.
The commissioner can adjust this feature in the For Commissioner > Setup > Reports & Other Settings by allowing leagues to contract/expand home page modules and the manner by which they are contracted or expanded.

| 5. | Why do I get the pop-up window that says "Click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage" when I visit my league pages? Answer: Some recent Microsoft Internet Explorer patches have introduced this error into IE browsers. The quickest and easiest solution to this problem is to remove all of the following items from your league web pages:
1. League sound clips (which can be done on the "For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup > Images and Other URLs" page).
2. Franchise sound clips (which can be done on the "For Owners > Franchise Setup > Advanced" page).
3. Scrolling text (which can be done on the "For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup > Scrolling Text" page).
4. Any custom HTML code that your commissioner has entered that includes EMBED, OBJECT or APPLET tags.
Another option, as detailed on this page, would be to download and install a Microsoft patch to prevent this pop-up dialog box from appearing.

| 6. | Why do my league pages take so long to load? Answer: The primary cause of this problem is loading content like logos, icons, sound clips, tickers, etc. from third party sites. If those third party sites (sites other than MyFantasyLeague.com) are having problems, you'll notice this affects your MyFantasyLeague.com web page by taking it much longer to load. If you're having this problem, we recommend removing all third-party content by:
1) Go to the For Owners > Franchise Setup > Advanced page - look for any franchise logo, franchise icon, franchise sound clip (or any other URL listed on that page) that's loaded from a site other than MyFantasyLeague.com, and delete that URL, or, upload that logo or icon to the MyFantasyLeague.com site.
2) Go to the For Commissioners > Setup > Appearance Setup > Images and Other URLs page - look for any sites listed on that page that are loaded from a site other than MyFantasyLeague.com, and delete that URL (or, upload that item to the MyFantasyLeague.com site). Note that sometimes, your MyFantasyLeague.com-hosted CSS file might load an image from a non-MyFantasyLeague.com hosted site, so you may have to edit (or delete) that file, too.
3) Review all of your "League Home Page Messages" - if they have content loaded from third party sites (Waving NFL Flags, the ESPN Ticker, etc.), remove those objects.

| 7. | My League Chat (or Matchup Chart, or other chart) home page module does not work on my league home page - why? Answer: Certain league home page modules, including: League Chat, My Matchup Chart, Weekly Results Chart, Points Allowed By Position, and Starter Points By Position can only appear one time on a league home page. So, if any of these modules are not appearing or working correctly, the first thing to do is to remove the second (and any subsequent) instances of these modules, regardless of what home page tab it might be on.

| 8. | How do I Change my League Skin? Answer: As Commissioner you can go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Select a Skin to preview and select your desired league skin. This skin will then appear on all league pages for all owners unless owners are given the ability to customize their own league pages.
Preview the skins image by clicking on the image itself on the skins page (this does not actually change the league to the skin, but only allow for a preview of what to expect).
Click on the button next to the skin in which you would like applied to your league pages.
When finished, you MUST click on the “Select a Skin” button in order to apply your changes.
If the commissioner has given owners the ability to customize their league pages in the For Commissioner > Setup > Abilities Setup then an owner can go to the For Owners > Franchise Setup and click on the “Skins” link to choose their own league skin for when they are logged into the league.
Note that if you currently have a Template defined you will need to turn off the template to change your Skin.

| 13. | How do I use the Message #: 1-12 page? Answer: This screen allows the commissioner to define information to appear on the home page. Using the 'Message Number' links at the top of the page, the commissioner can define any/all of the twelve home page messages. Click on the home page message hyperlink to switch from message to message. These messages can be placed at different locations on the home page using the Home Page Modules & Tabs Setup option.
NOTE: XHTML tags are supported, but you cannot enter any XHTML before the <body> tag as well as after the </body> tag. This is a common problem when using a third-party program such as MS Word to generate your XHTML message. XHTML is also not supported in the Message Label of the Home Page Messages.
WYSIWYG - By default, each message will be edited using an Advanced (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) editor. Go to the Reports & Other Settings screen to revert back to a non-HTML, basic text editor.
Optional Message Label - Enter in text to more easily reference this message. HTML text may not be entered into this label as it can prevent future access/editing of the message.
Message Should Appear - Check either box to have the currently defined message appear in the header (top) or footer (bottom) of all league pages.
NOTE: Each individual message is limited to 256kb in size.
When finished, you MUST click on the Update Message button in order to apply your changes.

| 15. | How do I use the Home Page Modules & Tabs Setup page? Answer:
This screen is always available for commissioners to set a default for the league. In addition, if the commissioner enabled this capability for owners via Abilities Setup
, each owner may define their own home page setup. Also, if an owner-customized home page needs to be restored to the league's default setup, then either (1) the owner can remove all home page modules and save changes, or (2) the commissioner can remove the owner's home page customization ability in the Abilities Setup
screen.
In general, this screen offers the ability to further customize the appearance of the home page by specifying which system modules to include/exclude as well as define the order of those modules. The site currently offers more than 60 of these modules for your home page.
Select Tab To Edit - By default, you're editing the "Main" tab. However, you can create as many new tabs as you'd like for your league home page, giving each a name. Those tabs will allow owners to see more content on your league home page without having to scroll down to the bottom of the page. Also, you can later delete a tab if you'd like.
Available Modules - This window lists the modules currently not displayed on the league home page.
Currently Used Modules - This window lists the modules that are currently defined for display on the league home page.
Set Module Width - While each module defaults to wide (single column format) or narrow (dual column format), any module's width can be overridden by selecting the appropriate radio button prior to clicking on the 'Add To List' button.
Add To List - Select a module from the Available Modules window and click on this button to move it to the Currently Used Modules window.
Remove From List - Select a module from the Currently Used Modules window and click on this button to remove it from the home page and return it to the Available Modules window.
Move Up - Highlight a module and click on this button to raise it to a higher location in the list and therefore a higher location on the home page.
Move Down - Highlight a module and click on this button to drop it to a lower location in the list and therefore a lower location on the home page.
Stacked vs. Multi-Column - By default, the system will support one column of "stacked" modules using either the narrow or wide format. Modules are either narrow or wide in size and appear with the "(N)" and "(W)" notation after their listing. A wide module will take up the entire width of the home page whereas two narrow modules if placed in succession will combine to take up the entire width of the home page.
Reset To System Default - Click on this link AND the Save Home Page Setup to revert the current modules back to the initial set defined at league creation.
However, you can also use an alternate multi-column format to create two or more columns on your home page and place any modules in each column. In order to use this feature, you must first click on the "multi-column" link. Next, you will need to define at least two columns, each with a corresponding width.
Disclaimer: The column width percentages are treated by web browsers as a guideline, and depending on your web browser and the actual contents of each column, those percentages may not be adhered to very closely for you.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Home Page Setup button in order to apply your changes.
"Embeddable" Modules
For even greater flexibility in designing your own, custom web site, most of the home page modules can placed (embedded) into your own custom web pages. To learn more about this feature, see this page.

| 16. | Why doesn't the colors setup page allow me to change the colors on my league pages? Answer: Most likely this is happening because you've selected a skin or template for your league. Skins and Templatesare pre-packaged options for league appearance, and are meant to override any custom colors you might have indicated on your colors setup page to keep the overall appearance of the skin or template consistent. You can technically use a skin and still change one or more of the colors, however, this does require CSS programming skills. Please see our advanced customization guide for more information.
If you're not using a skin or template it might be an issue of your web browser caching (storing) some old color information. Simply quit/restart your browser or reload the page via CTRL+F5 (hold down the CTRL key and press the F5 key) to clear your browser's cache, and you should see the updated colors.
