| 1. | How do I set up my franchise? Answer: Once you have been invited to your league by your league commissioner and have logged in for the first time via the password that was emailed to you it is time to set up and personalize your league.
Begin by going to your For Owners > Franchise Setup.
Here you will see four Setup options at the top of the page: Basic, Contact Info, Customize, Home Page and Skin.
Basic Setup
Highlight the Basic Setup tab and you can do the following:
1.Change your Franchise Name
2.Enter your Owner Name
3.Change your Franchise Password
4.Change or Add your Email Address
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Customize
1. To personalize your franchise you can also add or create a:
Franchise Home Page URL, A Franchise Logo that will appear on your Franchise Information Page, Franchise Icon that will appear in the League Standings Report or a Franchise Sound Clip.
2. Define a Franchise Abbreviation. This abbreviation will appear on all wireless reports as well as any Grid View of the League Reports.
3. You have the option to alter your Menu Bar on your screen. This may be necessary if you do not have a JavaScript compatible web browser.
4. Disable the Advanced Editor in League Boxes. This will allow you to write in html format when writing to the league.
5. Choose the time zone in which you are situated in. This is important for lineup submissions, waivers etc.
6. Optionally, you can add any additional notes to your Franchise Information Page for other owners to view.
You MUST click the "Save Franchise Information" button once complete to apply your changes.
Contact Info
1. Under this tab you can add additional information, such as alternate contact information, phone numbers and addresses. This information can only be viewed by other members of your league that are logged in.
2. When defining your Cell Phone Number you can also optionally choose your cell phone carrier from the drop down box. If you enter your cell phone number and your cell phone carrier you will receive text messages at 3pm, 4:30pm, 6pm, 7:30pm and 10pm ET on Sundays with live scoring updates.
3. Optionally you can add your Yahoo Messenger ID, AOL IM or ICQ ID to your account.
3. Next you will set up your email account for emails regarding league information. Define the type of email you would like sent from MyFantasyLeague.com (HTML or Plain Text).
5. Once defined, check the boxes next to the reports and updates that you would like sent to you.
Home Page Setup
Use this page to set up your Home Page modules and Tabs should your commissioner permit this on the Setup > Abilities Setup.
1. From the list of Available Modules, the left hand column, choose what module you would like to include on your league home page by highlighting that module.
2. If adding a new column, first select the module "New Column" from the list of Available Modules and click the Add To List> button. Next, you will be asked how wide (as a percentage) you would like the new column to be.
3. Click on the Add To List > button to add to your Current Modules. Alternately if you choose to remove a module from your Current Modules you can highlight that module and choose the
4. For each additional module that you wish to add repeat steps 1 through 3 above.
5. Once all modules are added to your Current List you may use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order for appearance on your Home Page.
6. Once you have arranged your Currently Used Modules you MUST click the Save Home Page Setup in order to apply your changes.
NOTE: There are two options on this page should you make to many adjustments and wish to start over. You can choose to "Reset to System Default" or "Reset to Commissioner View" to bring your home page back to how it originally was defined.
Skin
If given the option by the commissioner to customize your home page appearance owners are able to choose from a wide variety of league Skins. These Skins specify an entire look and feel for your league's pages - including colors & images. Click here to see a table of currently available skins.
You can preview the skins image by clicking on the image itself on the skins page (this does not actually change the league to the skin, but only allow for a preview of what to expect).
Click on the button next to the skin in which you would like applied to your league pages.
When finished, you MUST click on the "Select a Skin" button in order to apply your changes.
NOTE: If the commissioner has defined a Template for your league this option will not be available to you.

| 2. | How do I perform a trade? Answer:
How to Propose a Trade
1. Go to the For Owners > Trades. This option will only appear if your commissioner has allowed franchise owners to trade.
2. Choose the franchise in which you would like to propose a trade to from the drop down box.
3. Select the player(s) from your roster that you would like to offer in the trade from the left hand column. Then select the player(s) that you wish to receive in the trade from the opposing franchises' roster. An optional message can be included with the trade offer if desired.
4. Once the proper player(s) are selected to be proposed in a trade you MUST click the Propose Trade button to apply your changes.
*Note: the franchise that you are proposing the trade to may not be registered to receive automatic emails from the site. On the confirmation page be sure to note if the email was sent to them via email or you may need to notify them of the trade proposal.
Once you have received a trade proposal via email or have been notified of a trade you will need to either accept the trade, reject the trade or offer a counter-proposal.
Accept a Trade
1. In for For Owners > Trade you will view your pending trades.
2. Under the Trades Others Have Offered to You in the right hand column you can review trades that have been proposed to your franchise. To accept the trade choose: a. __ Yes, I'd like to accept this trade.
Optional comments regarding the trade may be entered in the text box below.
3. Once you have chosen the accept trade box you MUST click the Respond to Trade Offer button in order to process the trade.
Reject a Trade
1. In for For Owners > Trade you will view your pending trades.
2. Under the Trades Others Have Offered to You in the right hand column you can review trades that have been proposed to your franchise. To reject the trade choose: b. __ No, I'd like to reject this trade.
Optional comments regarding the trade may be entered in the text box below.
3. Once you have chosen the reject trade box you MUST click the Respond to Trade Offer button in order to process the rejection.
Counter-Propose a Trade
1. In for For Owners > Trade you will view your pending trades.
2. Under the Trades Others Have Offered to You in the right hand column you can review trades that have been proposed to your franchise. To give a counter offer to the initial trade proposal choose: c. No, I'd like to reject this trade and offer a Counter-proposal.
3. Once you have chosen the reject trade box you MUST click the Respond to Trade Offer button in order to offer your counter-proposal.
4. You can now offer your counter-proposal as a new trade proposal. You will be taken to the original trade proposal screen to view your full roster and your selected franchises' roster. The previous trade will now be considered rejected.
Revoking a Trade
In the chance that you have proposed a trade that you later have decided was done in error you have the option to Revoke the Trade.
1. Go to your For Owners > Trades and you can review all Pending Trades.
2. In the left hand column are Trades You Have Offered to Others. Under this column click on "revoke" under the proposed trade, option a: No, I'd like to revoke the above trade offer.
3. This will automatically revoke that trade offered.

| 3. | How do I perform injured reserve moves? Answer: The Injured Reserve option is designed to allow teams to deactivate injured players based upon their league settings when they are listed as IR. Alternately you can activate a player via this function once they are cleared from the NFL IR report.
All players on your roster will show their designated NFL IR status in red next to their name if your league requires various degrees of injury status to be moved legally to IR. The official NFL injury reports are updated on MFL every Wednesday and Friday evenings, corresponding to their release.
To Deactivate a Player to Injured Reserve
1. Go to your For Owners > Injured Reserve. Remember this option will only appear if your league allows for Injured Reserve spots and your commissioner has given permission to perform IR moves.
2. Choose a player from your current roster on the left hand side and check the box next to their name under the column Deactivate to IR? column.
3. Once the proper player(s) are selected to deactivate to IR you MUST click the Perform Injured Reserve button to apply your changes.
To Activate a Player from Injured Reserve
1. Go to your For Owners > Injured Reserve.
2. Choose a player from the right hand column of current Injured Reserve players and check the box corresponding with their name to Activate From IR? column.
3. Once the proper player(s) are selected to activate from IR you MUST click the Perform Injured Reserve button to apply your changes.
To Drop a Player From Injured Reserve
Often times in order to re-Activate a player to your Roster from Injured Reserve you will need to drop a player from your current roster to stay within your roster limits. This can be done simultaneously while Activating a Player in the Injured Reserve page.
1. Go to your For Owners > Injured Reserve.
2. Choose a player from your left hand column of your current roster list to drop. Check the corresponding box next to the player(s) name under the Drop From Roster? Column. At this same time you can also Activate a Player from your current IR list per the instructions above.
3. Once the proper player(s) are selected to be dropped from IR, and others activated if necessary, you MUST click the Perform Injured Reserve button to apply your changes.

| 4. | How do I communicate with my league? Answer:
Message Board
Each league has the ability to communicate with one another by posting messages and replying via a league Message Board. Each message post and subsequent replies make up one message thread. Owners are allowed to post message and respond to message board items if allowed by your league commissioner.
Post a Message
1. Go to your Communication > Message Board while logged in as an owner.
2. Click on the Add Topic link on the top of the page to create a new message thread for your board.
3. Create a Subject topic and Message in the body for your league to view and respond.
4. There is an option to have the system email a message when league-mates have replied to your topics. Check that box before posting your message.
5. Once finished composing, you may Preview your message then click the Post button to post it to your League Message Board for all owners to see.
Viewing & Replying to Messages
1. Go to Communication > Message Board.
2. The left hand column titled Topic will display all Message Board Posts. Click on this Topic to view the Message and the replies.
3. To Reply to a message thread click on the [Reply] link corresponding to a specific message in which you wish to reply. Follow the same steps for Posting a Message above. You can also copy a previous message into your reply via the [Quote] link. Optionally, you can edit out any of the test you don't want quoted in your reply.
Private Message
You have an option to send a private message to another owner in your league. These messages are similar to email, but offer the league a way to keep all communication within the league itself.
1. Go to your Communication > Message Board while logged in as an owner.
2. Click on the Private Message link on the top of the page.
3. Here you can view messages that have been sent to you or choose the option Send Message.
4. Choose from the Drop Down box a recipient to receive your Private Message.
5. Create a topic Subject and Message to send to the other owner.
6. Once finished composing, you may Preview your message then, click the Send button to send to the recipient.
Note: You may only send a private message to a league-mate after they have visited your league message board for the first time. Also, you will by default receive an email message from the system when you do have new private message (this can be disabled in the "Options" section).
League Articles
This screen allows all owners to define a 'news' article for the league. Alternately it can be used as a form of trash-talking. Regardless of how your league uses this feature, if the League Article Module is defined in the Home Page Setup for each owner then the most recent article will appear on the Home Page.
1. Go to Communication >League Articles . Here you can view all previous articles and subjects written by your league.
2. To create a new league article simply click on the Write New Article link found under any topic.
3. Now enter your Headline and Body of the Article. You also have the option to add a Picture along with a Picture Caption to your article.
4. Once finished, you MUST click the Save Article button to have your article viewed by the league.
Note: If you need to later edit your article you may do so by clicking the Edit This Article link on the League Articles page.
League Polls
League Polls can be used either for entertainment or league business such as voting or trade approvals.
Create/Edit League Polls
1. Go to your Communication > League Polls.
2. Click on the Create/Edit League Polls link to define a new poll.
3. Enter in a Poll Question under the Create a New Poll column.
4. Fill in at least one answer to define a new poll (not all poll answers need to be defined.
5. Alternately you can check the box at the bottom of the poll to automatically make all franchise names poll answers.
6. Define a time when voting in the poll must end.
7. After you have designed your poll you must click the Save Poll button in order to send the poll to the league.
Optionally you can edit or delete your league polls that you have created by clicking your Edit or Delete links next to their topics. Editing polls however does not erase any previously-defined information.
Voting for Polls
1. To vote for a poll go to Communication > League Polls.
2. Here league polls will show the question at the top of the page and options to choose which answer or team in which you'd like to vote. To vote simply choose an answer and click the Vote! Button.
Once you vote for a poll you will see the status of that poll (how many votes are for each topic).
League Chat
This interface allows instant messaging for all owners that are logged into a league at the same time. If the league chat is open then each owner can chat in real time.
1. Go to Communication > League Chat.
2. A small screen will come up. View all other franchises on-line via the drop down box. All messages should be posted by each owner. Under league post you may enter your chat in the empty field.
3. Make sure you click Post to send your comment to the Chat board.
Note that if you "mouse over" a message you will be able to see when that message was posted.
If you wish to clear your league chat once complete simply enter a post that states
:clear: and then hit ths post button to clear the chat board.
Bulletin Board
The Bulletin Board allows each owner to post a single message. Each owner can view and edit their own messages, as well as view other messages from other teams.
1. Go to Communication > Bulletin Board.
2. Enter your message in the Editing box below your Franchise Name.
3. You MUST click Update Message when finished to apply your changes.
Here you can view your message along with other owners messages on one page.
While all of the above communication options in your league are found under the Communications tab on the menu bar, some are available directly on your Home Page. You may optionally add the Message Board Topics, League Polls, League Articles and also League Chat to your Home Page.
If these appear on your home page then when logged in you may add, edit, view, vote or chat to any of the above topics directly from your home page.

| 5. | How to Drop Players. Answer: This option enables an owner to drop a player at any time from their roster if allowed per your league settings.
1. Go to your For Owners > Drop Players.
2. Your current roster will appear including all Injured Reserve and Taxi Squad Players.
3. To Drop a Player check the corresponding box next to that players name.
4. Once all players desired to be dropped are selected you MUST click the Drop Players button at the bottom of your Drop Players page in order for that action to process.
You can then review that this action took effect by either reviewing your Roster under Reports > Franchise > Roster or by checking your Reports > Franchise > Transaction.

| 6. | How do I pre-draft? Answer: If your league is holding an on-line draft then you can use this feature to help pick your players prior to your turn and help speed along the draft. This is also useful if you are not able to draft for a future round. You can enter your pre-draft picks for that round and the system will choose the highest priority player.
Please note that Pre-draft picks are selected for you as soon as it is your turn to pick in the draft. To have a compiled list for your draft in which you, the owner, can make your own picks, but are not picked from immediately please use the My Draft List
Pre-Draft Picks - Round 1
1. Go to the For Owners > Draft.
2. From the Player To Add: list, highlight the player in which you would like to add to your Pre-draft List. You can filter players on this available fantasy free agent list by using the "Show Only" pull-down box to obtain a subset of the list (by position or NFL team).
3. Click the Add To List> button.
4. Continue steps 2. and 3. above for any pick you'd like to attempt in the round. Keep in mind, adding more players will increase your chances for getting a player in that round.
5. Once players are added, highlight the individual players and use the Move Pick Up or Move Pick Down buttons to prioritize them in the order which you would like them drafted. You may also use the
6. After prioritizing your list you MUST click the Save These Picks and Continue button save your picks for that round and receive confirmation.
Pre-Draft Picks - Round 2 (Subsequent Rounds)
Once Round 1 picks are saved successfully you will be ready to make picks for Round 2. Round 1 Saved picks will appear at the top of the Pre-Draft page.
1. Optionally, you can choose the "Add All From Previous Round>>" button to add all players from Round 1 to your Round 2 Draft.
2. Now repeat steps 2 through 6 from Pre-Draft Picks - Round 1 to add your picks for subsequent rounds.
Pre-Draft Future Rounds
In the event that you will not be available for future rounds of drafting during a live draft you have the option to Pre-draft those rounds.
1. Go to For Owners > Draft.
2. Choose at the round that you would like to make a pick for at the bottom of the Page from the drop down field listed next to the "Or, you may go immediately to:" XX Be sure to click the "Now!" button to move to that round of picks.
3. Follow steps 2 through 6 in Pre-Draft Picks - Round 1.

| 7. | How do I perform taxi squad (practice squad) moves? Answer: The Taxi Squad allows players on a current roster to be demoted to the squad as well as players that may have been placed on the Taxi Squad the ability to be promoted to the roster.
To Demote a Player to Taxi Squad
1. Go to your For Owners > Taxi Squad. This option only appears if your league allows for Taxi Squad positions and your commissioner has given permission for owners to perform Taxi Squad moves.
2. Choose a player from your current roster in the left hand side and check the box next to their name under the column Demote to TS? column.
3. Once the proper player(s) are selected to demote to Taxi Squad you MUST click Taxi Squad Moves button to apply your changes.
To Promote a Player from Taxi Squad
1. Go to your For Owners > Taxi Squad
2. Choose a player(s) from the right hand column of current Taxi Squad players. Check the box next to the corresponding name of the player(s) you wish to promote under the Promote from TS? column.
3. Once the proper player(s) are selected to be promoted to your roster you MUST click the Perform Taxi Squad Moves button to apply your changes.
To Drop a Player From Taxi Squad
Often times in order to Promote a player to your Roster from Taxi Squad you will need to drop a player from your roster to stay within your roster limits. This drop can be done simultaneously while Promoting a Player in the Taxi Squad page.
1. Go to your For Owners > Taxi Squad.
2. Choose a player from your left hand column of your current roster list to drop. Check the box next to the corresponding name of the player(s) you wish to drop under the Drop From Roster? column. At this same time you can also Promote a Player from your current Taxi Squad list.
3. Once the proper player(s) are selected to be dropped from your roster, and those promoted as necessary, you MUST click the Perform Taxi Squad Moves button to apply your changes.

| 8. | How do I place an auction bid? Answer: When using an auction to conduct your draft you can check on the status of all in-progress auctions, bid on a currently auctioned player, or auction a new player under the Auction Bid menu item.
Start Auctioning a New Player for Bid
1. Go to your For Owners > Auction Bid.
2. From the "Select a Player" pull down menu choose a player that you would like to begin bidding on You can filter players on this available fantasy free agent list by using the "Show Only" pull-down box to obtain a subset of the list (by position or NFL team).
3. Enter an amount in which you would like bidding to start at.
4. Add additional comments to your bid if desired. These will appear in the email sent out to all owners and the commissioner if selected to receive Auction Bids.
5. Once the player is selected and bid amount made you MUST click on the Submit Auction Bid (s) in order to apply the bids.
All results will appear in the Reports > League > Auction Results - Summary.
Bidding or Reviewing Current Auctions
1. Go to your For Owners > Auction Bid.
2. All current bidded players will appear on this page. Sort the auctioned players by Position and or Franchise with this Highest Bid. You may also sort the players by Auction Start Date, Last Bid Date, Player Name, Bid Amount or Franchise. Be sure to click the "Now!" button to sort per your criteria.
3. Submit a higher bid in the Bid Amount column next to the player(s) name in which you wish to raise the bid.
4. Once all bid raises are in, you MUST click on the Submit Auction Bid(s) in order to apply the new bids.

| 9. | How To Create My Draft List. Answer: This list allows an owner to create his or her own customized master draft list which can either be used for an online MFL-hosted draft, or an offline draft. It is primarily used as a guide to aid an owner in actively making his or her picks throughout the entire draft.
1. To create your Draft List simply go to your For Owners > My Draft List.
2. The left hand column is a list of all Available players based on your league settings. You are able to sort the players either via the ADP Rankings or Alphabetically.
3. To add players to your list simply highlight the players' name and click the button Add To List >. This will add the player to the right handed column, your Current My Draft List.
Alternately you can highlight a player from the right hand column and remove them from your Current My Draft List by choosing the
4. You also have the option of adding all players from the list of Available Players to the current My Draft list by choosing Add All To List >>.
5. Once you have added your players to your Current My Draft List you may arrange them in order of importance to aid in your draft by using the Action buttons. Highlight the player you with to move and click either the Move Up or Move Down buttons to place them in their proper position.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save My Draft List button in order to apply your changes.

| 10. | How do I do a Live Draft on MyFantasyLeague.com? Answer: If your league is conducting a MFL Live-Draft and your commissioner had enabled 'Live Drafting' for your league you will be able to draft in real time online. Each team's draft pick will be appear as it is being picked and teams are able to comment to one another in the draft room.
Enter Live Draft Mode
1. Go to your For Owners > Draft.
2. If it is not your turn to draft you may click the link at the top of the page to enter Live Draft mode.
You may switch to Live Draft mode now. Warning: Email regarding picks made is not sent to other franchise owners in "Live Draft" mode.
In Live Draft Mode you can view all league chat and information on the upper left hand of the screen. Draft picks and draft info will appear on the right hand of the screen.
You can choose to manually refresh your screen to view picks from the upper right hand link. The Draft Timer will also appear to indicate when time will expire. Quick links to the League Home, Rosters, Draft Report are available on the right hand column of the Live Draft room.
3. Post a Message in the Live Draft Room by typing in a message in the lower half of the screen and entering Post Message when complete.
Draft in Live Draft Mode
If you have not already Pre-drafted your picks then you have the option to make your picks in the Live Draft Mode.
1. If you have defined your My Draft List then you can either view the players from the My Draft List or Alphabetically. Once chosen you may limit your player lists by positions by click on any of the links under "Show Only:"
2. When it is your turn to draft, Highlight a player from the Select a Player Field.
3. Click the Pick button to submit your pick to your league.
