This screen contains the minimum settings necessary to define a league.
League Name - the name of your league.
Commissioner Password - to prevent unauthorized access to your league, you should select a password. Make sure that the password conforms to some basic password guidelines including: at least one non-alphanumeric character (digit or special character), no dictionary words, nor any easily guessed set of characters. You should not share your commissioner password with other owners in your league. If they were to use the commissioner password, they would be able to make any change to any team they would like - probably not what you want to happen!
NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive and must be at least six (6) characters in length.
Confirm Password - You must type in the franchise password again for confirmation purposes.
Commissioner Email Address - You must enter your email address here. Don't forget to include the whole address (ex. username@domain.com). If you have two or more co-commissioners, you can enter multiple email address with a comma separating each one.
Number of Divisions - If your league has multiple divisions, enter the number of divisions here. Note that these are the number of overall divisions in the league, not divisions per conference. Default is 2.
Number of Conferences - If your league has multiple conferences, enter the number of conferences here. You must have at least four defined divisions to have more than one conference.
Number of Franchises - Enter the number of franchises (teams) in your league. Default is 12.
Number of Roster Spots - Enter the maximum number of players and NFL teams that can be on each franchise owner's roster (not including injured reserve or taxi squad players). Default is 16, max is 80.
Number of Injured Reserve Spots - If your league allows franchise owners to put players on injured reserve, enter the maximum number of players that can be on injured reserve for each team at one time here. Default is 0.
Number of Taxi Squad Spots - (Also called a practice squad and a protected pool). If your league allows franchise owners to acquire rights toward players without having them on their roster, enter the maximum number of players that can be on a team's taxi squad. Default is 0.
Fantasy Schedule? -
Yes, one H2H matchup per week. Use this option if each team only plays one other team each week. Define the matchups using the Fantasy Schedule Setup
screen.
Yes, doubleheaders. Used if your league plays more than one, but not against all other teams each week. Increase the number of games and define the matchups using the Fantasy Schedule Setup
screen.
Yes, each team plays every other team each week. Use for an all-play league. Note that the standings will record each matchup for each team each week.
No. Select this for a Total Points league.
NOTE: Leagues that use both H2H and total points scoring at the same time should choose one of the "Yes" options which will also track total points in addition to the chosen form of H2H scoring.
Each Player can be on xx rosters per [League|Conf|Div] - Some larger leagues allow a player or NFL team to be on multiple franchise rosters so that the talent pool isn't so thin. If your league allows this, enter the appropriate number here. Otherwise, leave this field blank. Also note that if you choose to restrict duplicate players by conference or division, you will be switching your league from a standard to a deluxe league which will increase the price. Please click here
for more information on standard vs. deluxe leagues.
